Key Responsibilities
Production & Material Handling
- Ensure daily material requirements are prepared and available for production
- Set up and monitor machinery to ensure accurate operation
- Operate rewinding and cutting machines to maintain continuous production
- Package and store materials according to company standards
Quality & Documentation:
- Ensure all products meet the required quality standards
- Update production and stock documentation accurately
- Monitor material stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Ensure the next process in production has sufficient materials to maintain workflow
Safety & Compliance
- Comply with all corporate safety standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Ensure housekeeping tasks are carried out regularly
- Report any operational or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Performance & Targets:
- Meet daily and hourly production targets
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes
- Demonstrate reliability and efficiency in all assigned tasks
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Basic technical and vocational understanding of production processes
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
