This job is for people who have at least a 10th-grade education and can lift and move things in a factory where laundry is done. The main tasks involve washing, sorting, pressing, packaging, and delivering hospital sheets and clothes, all while keeping things clean and following work rules.

Scope of Duties

Laundry Worker Level II employees will be responsible for performing operational laundry tasks within a provincial laundry facility.

Core duties include unloading and loading linen, sorting and counting items, folding linen, and operating ironing and pressing machines. The role requires attention to detail to ensure the correct handling and processing of linen items.

Employees will be responsible for sealing and labelling linen bags with appropriate tags and ensuring that clean linen is delivered while dirty linen is collected accurately. The role involves maintaining proper stock control through accurate counting during both dispatch and collection processes.

The successful candidates must maintain the cleanliness of the working area and equipment at all times. Compliance with hygiene and occupational health standards is essential in this working environment.

The role requires teamwork and the ability to work under supervision within a structured production environment. Employees must adhere to safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times.
